Hi! I’m Andy and I’m a lifelong dog lover who cannot now have my own dog, because my partner has an allergic reaction to all dogs.
Since 2014 I’ve been very involved with dog charities and as a result have been regularly walking and sitting dogs for people I have met through the charity community. I’ve also been qualified in first aid for dogs since 2017 (last renewed July 2023).
I love all dogs but my particular favourite breed is the greyhound; it’s a greyhound rehoming charity I am involved with and I have a lot of experience with the specifics of sighthounds – though of course I have affection for all dogs big or small! At the moment I walk one friend’s greyhound once per week and another friend’s greyhound once per week. Aside from that I house sit when necessary.
I run my own business working from home and therefore am able to spend time walking others’ dogs and pet sitting. As long as I can connect to your Wi-Fi to do my work from my laptop I can work from anywhere. I don’t drive so I am only able to walk/sit your dog if I can easily reach you on foot or by public transport, and walks would be local to where you live. If it is difficult/expensive for me to reach you by public transport I may ask to modify fees to include travel costs. I’m based in Feltham TW14 but am generally willing to travel anywhere if you will cover the travel expenses!
If it sounds like I could be the one to look after your dog(s) while you are away, please do check my availability, have a read through how it all works, and maybe check the frequently asked questions. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!
